Your adventure begins with a journey from Marrakech to Zagora, where you’ll board a 4×4 vehicle to reach Elgatara, situated at the base of the Jebel Bani mountains. After arriving, you’ll meet your camel team and set up camp. The night will be spent under the starry desert sky, allowing you to soak in the tranquility of the Sahara.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll embark on a trek across the Jebel Bani mountains, leading you to the picturesque Diabi Oasis. Here, you’ll experience the serenity of this lush green spot amidst the arid landscape, spending your first night in this unique environment.

Following breakfast, you’ll walk along the Ouad Elmhasse river towards Elgelta, known for its natural swimming pool, Guelta. This day will be dedicated to exploring the stunning surroundings, swimming in the refreshing waters, and discovering the ancient ruins left by past Bedouin inhabitants.

Your hike will take you through the last canyons toward the Legrizima Oasis, a beautiful location near the Erg Chegaga dunes. Here, you can refresh and wash up, and in the evening, you’ll witness a stunning sunset from the small dunes nearby.

Crossing diverse landscapes, this day features a trek through the dunes to Erg Elghoul, one of the largest dunes in the area. You’ll set up camp near these towering sands, soaking in the beauty of the desert at dusk.

Early in the morning, you’ll cross the dunes, reaching the vast salty plateau of Lake Iriki. Your journey continues to Bivouac Les Nomades, where you’ll celebrate your penultimate night in the Sahara with traditional food, lively music, and dancing around a campfire.
