About Your Guide: Mustapha Elayadi

I am Mustapha Elayadi, a local Berber nomad from the desert of Lake Iriki. Born and raised in the desert, my family and I traveled from one place to another according to the seasons, seeking water and food for our goats and camels. My deep connection with the desert led me to pursue my dream of becoming a certified desert guide.

It has always been my passion to stay in the desert and share the rich culture and traditions of the nomadic life with visitors from all over the world. As the desert environment becomes more challenging for us, especially with the animals, I knew that tourism could offer a sustainable way to preserve our way of life and support my family.

I worked hard to learn English at the university, as it is the key to communicating with travelers visiting Morocco.
