Tafroute to erg chegaga desert tour via tata and Foum Zguid

Begin your journey early from Tafroute, heading towards Foum Zguid a small town on the edge of the desert. The journey is about 4 to 5 hours. You will pass through the beautiful oasis of tata and the mountains of the Anti atlas. To arrive around 15:00 at Foum Zguid the gate to the sahara of erg chegaga, then you will need only 1 hour and a half to reach the dunes of erg chegaga.
Lunch: Stop at a traditional village along the way, such as Tata or tissint, or you can even continue the road till Foum Zguid and have lunch at our restaurant called restaurant Les nomades.
Overnight: Stay in a local traditional desert camp in the middle of the dunes of erg chegaga.
If you feel tired you can have an overnight in Foum Zguid and we start early in the morning next day.

Morning: After breakfast, start your journey from erg chegaga to discover the old kser of zaouit sidi abd enbi the oasis of lake iriki and the nomadic school. You’ll be traveling across some of the most scenic desert landscapes in Morocco, passing by rocky plateaus, sand dunes, and oasis.
Lunch: enjoy lunch in the desert in the shade of an accacia in the middle of nowhere
In the afternoon, and after day discovery we will return to Erg Chegaga desert camp to pass a wonderful night under the stars at bivouac Les Nomades. You will have dinner and music around the fire , you will have also the possibility to sleep outside under the stars if you wish . To have an authentic sahara desert experience
Camel Ride: Upon arrival from the discovery day you can enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes.

Morning: Watch the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chegaga. Afterward, we have breakfast and return back to Foum Zguid
