- Itinerary :
We start from Ouarzazate and drive to Taznakht, a Berber village known for its carpets and saffron. After a short visit, we continue to Foum Zguid, where you can see an old kasbah and the quiet life of the village. From here, we drive into the desert and cross rocky paths until we reach the Iriki dry lake. Dinner and night will be in a desert camp near Iriki, with music and stars.
After breakfast, we go deeper into the desert until we reach the big dunes of Chegaga, the highest and wildest dunes in this region. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a camel ride to watch the sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight in a desert camp at Chegaga.
This day is for exploring life in the desert. We visit a small oasis in the dunes, meet nomad families, and share tea with them. We also stop at a nomad school to see how children study in the desert. Later, you can ride camels again or relax at the camp. Dinner and night in the Chegaga desert camp.
After breakfast, we leave Chegaga and drive to Mhamid, the last village before the desert. Then we follow the Draa Valley, full of palm trees and kasbahs. We stop in Zagora and Agdz before returning to Ouarzazate in the afternoon, where the tour ends.
