- Departing from Foum Zguid: Our adventure begins in the early aftwr noon , as we leave behind the quiet town of Foum Zguid, heading into the heart of the desert. As we travel, you’ll pass the Tajine Mountains, whose distinctive peaks offer a unique contrast to the flat desert landscape.
- Elagermia Oases: Along the way, we’ll stop at the oases of Elagermia, where the lush greenery provides a stunning contrast to the surrounding arid landscape. Here, you can take in the peaceful ambiance and enjoy the oasis’s cool shade.
- Fossils of the Desert: As we continue, we’ll explore ancient fossils that tell the story of the desert’s distant past, offering a glimpse into the world before it was the barren, sand-swept land we see today.
- Lake Iriki: Our journey takes us to Lake Iriki, a vast, dry lakebed that stretches as far as the eye can see. Day 2: Return to Foum Zguid
After a peaceful night in the desert, you’ll wake to the soft glow of sunrise over the dunes. After a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our journey back to Foum Zguid, taking a different route to experience more of the desert’s natural beauty.
