After reaching the lake, visitors can stay overnight in desert camps nestled among the dunes, offering breathtaking views of the lake and its surroundings.
Road Conditions: Foum Zguid to Mhamid Elghizlane
Many tourists ask whether it is possible to travel between Foum Zguid and Mhamid Elghizlane via Lake Iriki. Although the road isn’t in perfect condition, it is passable. Travelers can navigate along the north side of the lake, passing through the village of Zaouit Sidi Abd Enbi and skirting Jebel Bani. This route provides an adventurous yet manageable journey for those exploring the region.

Lake Iriki lies within the Iriki National Park, a conservation area established in 1994. The park spans 123,000 hectares and aims to protect animal species while combating desertification.
