Two-day adventure in the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains and reach the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m), the highest peak in North Africa. This short but intense trek is ideal for mountain enthusiasts seeking a challenging experience and total immersion in the wild beauty of the Toubkal massif.
From Marrakech, discover breathtaking landscapes and traditional Berber villages, and enjoy an authentic experience combining nature, culture, and adventure.

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1,740 m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,206 m)

Depart early in the morning from your accommodation in Marrakech for the small village of Imlil, nestled at the foot of the High Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, you will meet your mountain guide and muleteer.
After a brief preparation, the trek begins towards the Toubkal Refuge (approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking). You will pass through the Berber villages of Aroumd and Sidi Chamarouch, a famous local pilgrimage site.
The trail gradually climbs through landscapes of valleys, rivers, and impressive rocks.
Arrival in the late afternoon at the refuge at 3,206 m, where you will spend the night in a friendly atmosphere among hikers.

Dinner and overnight stay at the refuge.

Day 2: Ascent of Mount Toubkal – Return to Imlil – Marrakech

Wake up very early to begin the ascent of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The climb lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours and offers spectacular panoramas of the Imlil Valley, the High Atlas Mountains, and, on a clear day, the Haouz plains and the distant desert.
Once at the summit (4,167 m), enjoy a magical moment to admire the sunrise and immortalize this achievement.
Descend to the refuge for a well-deserved breakfast, then continue to Imlil (4 to 5 hours of walking).
Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Total walking time: approximately 8 to 9 hours.
