Foum Zguid is a small town situated in the southeastern side of Morocco. In th province of tata around 120 kilometers in the souss- Massa region. Foum Zguid is the gate to the sahara of erg chegaga , lake iriki and mahamid Elghizlane.

I am Mustapha Elayadi a Berber Nomad from the desert of lake iriki. I grow my life in the desert of lake iriki with my family traveling from one place to an other according to season, searching for water and food for our herds specifically gaots and dromadaires. my dream was all the time to be a desert guide because I love the desert and I choose to be a desert guide first to stay in the desert secondly to share my nomads tradition and culture with other people from the world. And finally because the situation in the desert with animals get harder and harder.

It become a necessity to develop the tourism in the area, that we can have an other source of life to support the family, have an income to bring food for the herds when it is dry in the desert. And to guarantee the continuity of this beautiful way of life.This is why worked hard to have my study at the university unlike many of my colleagues to speak English because it is the key to communicate with travellers that are visiting the kingdom. around 8 years ago my dreams become true.
