Your adventure begins with arrival at Zagora Airport, where your driver/guide will greet you and take you south to M’hamid el Ghizlane, a small town at the edge of the desert. On the way, visit the pottery village of Tamagroute, famous for its hand-crafted ceramics. In M’hamid, you’ll meet your camels and begin a trek through the stunning sand dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the dunes, taking in the breathtaking sunset, and indulging in a traditional Saharan-style dinner. The night will be filled with Saharan music under a starlit sky in a traditional Berber bivouac.
After breakfast in your desert camp, embark on a camel trek deeper into the Sahara before transitioning to a 4×4 vehicle for a scenic off-road drive to Erg Chegaga, home to majestic dunes that rise 300 meters high. After a break for Moroccan tea, you’ll have time to enjoy the serene beauty of the dunes and take in the tranquil surroundings. In the afternoon, begin your journey back, passing through the desert and arriving in Zagora. From there, your driver will transfer you to Zagora Airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable 2-day Sahara adventure.
