4 days 3 night Agadir to erg CHEGAGA and lake IRIKI desert tour

Embark on your desert excursion from Agadir towards the majestic dunes of Erg Chegaga. Depart at 8 in the morning from your hotel, where our driver will pick you up. Traverse diverse landscapes, passing through Taroudant, nicknamed “Little Marrakech,” to explore its impressive ramparts and visit the magnificent palace transformed into an art gallery showcasing the works of Claudio Bravo. Take a break in Talouine to savor Moroccan saffron tea, then continue to Taznakht, the Moroccan capital of Berber carpet creation, before reaching Foum Zguid for lunch. The desert adventure then begins, passing through the Elagairmia oasis, fossils, and Lake Iriki to reach the dunes of Lake Iriki. Spend the night at Bivouac Les Nomades, experiencing the tranquility of the Sahara.

After breakfast, visit the ancient Kser of Zawia, a marabout, and a nomadic school. Meet the nomads and share tea with them before heading to the great dunes of Erg Chegaga. After lunch, meet the camel team to experience a sunset from the great dunes. Return to camp for dinner.

After breakfast, leave Erg Chegaga for Mahamid Elghizlane. Visit the sacred oasis and continue through the Hamada to reach Mahamid, the last town before the Sahara. Traverse the Draa Valley, stopping in Tamgroute to explore pottery workshops and historical sites. Pass through Zagora to reach Ouarzazate, where you’ll visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou.

Cross Taznakht on the way back to Agadir, concluding the program.
