Your adventure begins in Foum Zguid, where you will meet your driver and guide at our office at 15:30. If you have a small vehicle, we will ensure it is safely parked before embarking on the 4×4 journey.

We will first travel towards the picturesque Tajine Mountains, where you will witness the lush oasis of Elagermia, an essential water source in the region. Along the way, we will stop to explore ancient fossils, remnants of a time when this region was covered by the ocean. Continuing our journey, we will reach the stunning Lake Iriki, a dried salt lake that now serves as a gateway to the vast Sahara.

Upon arrival at our authentic desert camp, you will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan mint tea and delicious local pastries. In the evening, you will embark on a camel ride to the top of the towering dunes to witness an unforgettable sunset over Erg Chegaga. After returning to the camp, a traditional nomadic dinner will be served, followed by a mesmerizing evening of live Berber music around a roaring fire, providing an immersive desert experience.

After an early breakfast at the camp, we will set off towards the old village of Sidi Abd Enbi, known for its fascinating history and traditional architecture. Here, you will get a glimpse into the lives of the local people who have inhabited this region for centuries. Our next stop will be the Oasis of Zawiat, a serene and green paradise in the middle of the desert.

As we journey deeper into the Sahara, we will visit a nomadic school, where you will have the chance to interact with local children and learn about their unique way of life. Following this cultural experience, we will enjoy lunch with local nomads, sharing stories and traditions over a delicious homemade meal.

In the late afternoon, we will begin the breathtaking drive through the golden dunes of the Sahara, finally arriving at Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s most impressive dune formations. Here, you will settle into a luxurious desert camp, where you can relax and soak in the beauty of the endless sandscapes. The evening will be filled with an enchanting desert atmosphere, complete with another delightful Moroccan dinner and traditional music under a sky full of stars.
