Your journey begins in Foum Zguid, a gateway to the desert. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at Restaurant Les Nomades, where you will meet our team. If you are driving a small car, we will park it safely before switching to a 4×4 vehicle.

We will first head toward the Tajine Mountains, a unique rocky landscape with breathtaking views. From there, we continue to the Oasis of Elagermia, a hidden paradise in the desert where palm trees grow in the middle of an arid land. Our next stop is a prehistoric fossil site, where you can see ancient marine fossils, a reminder of the time when this region was covered by an ocean.

We then cross the vast Lake Iriki, a dry lakebed that offers an endless horizon of golden sand. By late afternoon, we reach the Erg Chigaga dunes, where you will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea. As the sun sets, you can climb the dunes for a spectacular sunset view. The evening is spent in a desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner by the fire, accompanied by Berber music. You will sleep in a comfortable nomadic tent, surrounded by the peaceful silence of the desert.

Wake up early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you will begin your camel trek towards Erg Elghoul, a remote area of the Sahara known for its untouched beauty. Riding a camel through the golden dunes is a truly authentic experience, allowing you to feel the rhythm of the desert as the nomads do.

By midday, we will stop to set up our mobile desert camp in a secluded area far from any civilization. Here, you will have the chance to learn how to bake bread in the sand, a technique used by nomadic tribes for generations. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, followed by a moment of relaxation in the shade of the dunes.

In the evening, as the sky turns into a blanket of stars, you will enjoy another delicious dinner. With no artificial lights around, this is one of the best places to witness the Milky Way in all its glory. You will spend the night sleeping under the stars, just as the nomads have done for centuries.

After breakfast in the desert, we will meet our 4×4 driver for the return journey to Foum Zguid. On the way, we will stop at Zaouit Sidi Abd Enbi, a historic ksar (fortified village) that has been home to nomadic tribes for centuries. Here, you will see the oasis, where the local people cultivate vegetables and date palms, despite the harsh desert conditions.

We continue our journey back to Foum Zguid, where your car will be waiting. From here, you can continue your travels through Morocco, carrying with you the unforgettable memories of your desert adventure.
