Day 1: 4x4 Ride to Erg Chegaga Desert Camp

Begin your adventure with a 4×4 ride from Foum Zguid, passing through the salty Colorado Lake Iriki before arriving at Erg Chegaga’s magnificent dunes. Spend the night at the Bivouac Les Nomades camp, enjoying the serene beauty of the desert, a marmalade sunset, and a starlit sky.

Day 2: Trek to Gelb Jmel and the Desert Swimming Pool

After breakfast, embark on a camel trek toward Gelb Jmel, the volcanic “Camel’s Heart” mountain. Relax at the desert swimming pool and take a refreshing swim in this rare desert oasis. Spend the night near Gelb Jmel, either in a tent or under the stars, while savoring nomadic fire-baked bread.

Day 3: Explore Ancient Stone Paintings and Oasis Village

Trek to see ancient stone paintings created by nomads centuries ago, with your guide explaining their history and meaning. Continue the trek through a paradise-like oasis to the small village of Zawiat Sidi abd Enbi. Spend the night in a traditional clay house, immersing yourself in local culture.

Day 4: Breakfast and Visit to Kasbah of Oumhansh

Enjoy breakfast in the clay village before your 4×4 transports you back to Foum Zguid. Conclude your journey with a visit to the historical Kasbah of Oumhansh, where your guide will share its stories before bidding farewell.
